When Does a Man Know He Loves a Woman?

We have been conditioned to be the alpha male, to know what we want, to be the hunter, the provider, to have the answers, to be strong and tough. No wonder we cause so much trouble in our love life. The truth is men have three powerful, dynamic forces at work inside themselves. Most of us will never admit it, not me of course, but the majority of us, when it comes to the woman we love, are marshmallows. The trouble we have trying to figure out whether we love the woman we are with is because we have a very difficult time understanding and differentiating what each of these forces are trying to tell us.

The Head

The head is that computer in our brain that controls so much of what we do. It is the logical and practical voice that speaks to us. It is the chatterbox that creates expectations and tells us what to think, how to rationalize, how to judge, how to act, what to like and dont like. It consumes our attention and is what creates so much confusion for us and the woman we are involved with. The head is the powerful force that usually gets in our way, most of the time, to accept the fact that we are in love with the woman we are with.

The Heart

This is the soft yet hard spot in our chest that gets us into so much trouble. Men like to think of themselves as being strong and tough but most of us are just soft teddy bears waiting for the right woman to unlock our heart and take care of us. But, if we trust our partner with the key and they hurt or disappoint us, we can shut down and build a bunker around it. Whats ironic is the more we love this woman, the thicker our walls become if our expectations are not fulfilled. When men get confused it is usually because the heart is not in sync with the head.

The Soul

This is the arbitrator between the head and the heart. So many times men become conflicted because the head says one thing and the heart says something else. We all know what happens when a man becomes conflicted in a relationship and the effect it has on their partner. Oh my, what is a man to do? The answer is we must learn to listen to our inner voice. This is the energy that originates from our soul and resonates throughout our bodies. You know the feeling;

When we are inspired to make her smile.
When we give her a gift and it fills us with happiness and makes us smile.
When we look in her eyes and feel an energy jolt in our body.
When she gives us affection and we become completely filled with joy.
When we make love to her and have the intense feeling of wanting to envelop her.
When we awake in the morning, look at her and know we are home.
When we are inspired to do just about anything to take care of her.
When we are inspired to be the best we can be for ourselves and her.
When we are dedicated to the success of the relationship.
When we are not with her and something inside of us feels off center.
When we are not with her, there is emptiness in our soul.
When we are in her presence, our soul is at peace.

When a man loves a woman he does not think with his head or feels with his heart, he senses it in his body.
