Watch Out For These NFL Teams In 2007

Football season is fast approaching and many individuals are perched on the end of their seats waiting for their favorite team to take the field. There is a lot of speculation as to which teams will be the hot ticket items this year and in order to provide an answer to this question it is important to look at the past football seasons and see which teams had the winning streaks and which ones left much to be desired with regard to the statistics.

Past Super Bowl Winners and Runners-Up

Taking a look back at the past Super Bowl winners as well as the second place teams is a great way to try and predict the future with regard to football teams to watch. The New England Patriots are definitely a team to watch out for if one is on the opposing side. Being past Super Bowl winners for three out the prior ten years is a record worth boasting about. Another team whose Super Bowl win is a bit more current is that of the Pittsburgh Steelers who won the 2006 Super Bowl and should also be a team to consider as Super Bowl hopefuls for this upcoming year.

With that said, Super Bowl winners are not the only teams which one should keep their eye on as being a hot team and 2007 Super Bowl hopeful. The Super Bowl runners-up should also be considered as potentially dangerous opponents. For example, the Philadelphia Eagles have proven in the past that they are a force to be reckoned with on the football field.

Summary

Although it may not be entirely possible to predict who is going to be a hot team for the upcoming football season, there are ways to guess as to who might be the hot teams for the next year in football. One of the best ways to do so is to consider past Super Bowl winners and their competitors.
