Six Secrets On How To Get Love Right

Do you know the secrets in how to get love right? Do you wonder how some people can make a relationship last in spite of the high divorce rate and falling marriage rate? In spite of the negative statistics, there are some people today who have relationships with more promise than ever before. Would you like to know how they do it?

Here are six secrets to have a relationship that will endure a lifetime:

1. Mutual values

You may think you are crazy about someone because of the way they look, act, and talk, but if you discover that they do not honor your deepest values, that attraction will disappear. If one of your most important values is kindness to animals and you discover your new love interest hates all four-legged creatures, you will be offended by their remarks and behavior. You can avoid a lifetime of pain or an eventual breakup if you steer clear of someone who feels this way. How do you have a lasting relationship? Start by choosing someone with similar values.

2. Attraction

Once you know that you share similar values with someone, chemistry is important. If it isn't there, you can't manufacture it. But attraction alone is not enough to sustain a relationship.

3. Mutual admiration

Relationships that last are found to exist between two people who have high regard for each other. Each one thinks the other is outstanding. They praise their partner and feel fortunate to have found them. They bring their own strengths to the relationship and this is a love between equals. In order to get love right, you need to choose someone you admire and respect.

4. Purpose

Relationships of strength are between two people who feel an enormous purpose to their lives. They support each other in their purpose and help each other achieve their goals. When two people share their life purpose, their relationship becomes enormously authentic. There will be no other union quite like it.

5. Trust

Two people who trust each other feel emotionally safe with sharing secrets. They know that the other one will never use the information against them. Building trust with each other starts with trusting the best part of their mate, even when they act in contradiction to their higher self.

6. Self-worth

You cannot separate out healthy self esteem from a good strong relationship. Both people feel they matter, are important in the world, and have much to contribute. Both people also know how to exercise their talents, know how to take care of themselves, and continuously make their family feel proud of them. If one or both of the people have old wounds from the past, they are strong enough to know how to get help to heal their hurt so it does not get in the way of their relationship.

These are the six secrets that will bring you a strong relationship in today's world. Work on achieving these qualities and you will have a partnership that endures.
