Currently we have a bottleneck of in the application processes to fulfilling mandated jobs in homeland security, special projects and in high tech research fields due to back ground checks. Meanwhile top security clearances need some background folks to go and meet with people associated to those who are applying. Well there just are not enough people to do this and the needs for the personnel are so over whelming that the backlog continues to grow. When people assume that our team has everything under control, well it simply is not so, in fact far from it. What we do have going for us is the fact that every honest, hardworking American out there has their eyes and ears watching out and that makes up the difference you see? Never the less we must take hold of this problem and find a solution to all those security jobs left unfulfilled otherwise we are not protecting the American People as promised and thus we are not achieving those goals we set out to. We need to accelerate the background checks and certification access cards for those who will be protecting all we are and all we have built in this great nation. There are many ways to do this, yet we have our blob of bureaucracy sticking up paper work barriers to entry, which neither protect us or insure those who are hired are safe bets. We need to redo this system, stop pissing in the wind and kidding ourselves. Consider all this in 2006. |
